La historia de Momo Kyun Sword está inspirada en Momotarô, personaje clásico del folclore japonés. Sin embargo, es una joven y guapa espadachín que nació dentro de un melocotón. La historia cuenta con otros personajes de la mitología japonesa como el dios perro Inugami, el dios mono Sarugami o el dios faisán Kijigami, con quienes Momotarô vive en una especie de paraíso.
