kingdom business(2022)

In desperate need of her next hit, gospel queen and record executive Denita Jordan reaches a career crossroads when her son Taj endorses a traumatized rising star with a risqué reputation.

Taj goes against the family and brings a reluctant Rbel to meet his mother's rival Caesar at Redeeming Records, spurring a disaster during Denita's lifetime achievement award tribute.

Denita's scheming takes a turn for the worse in the wake of Rbel's Stellar Awards performance, a key piece of evidence is introduced in Dani's murder case, and Taj gets found out.

The Bishop Emeritus comes to town as Denita's empire crumbles, and Rbel refuses Caesar's gospel directives and considers recording a tribute track to her mother.

CJ ruffles some feathers with her proposed duet partner for Denita, Caesar sends Rbel to a songwriting boot camp to reach her full, godly potential, and Calvin has a special visitor.

Rbel's private investigation finds a member of the Kingdom family implicated in Dani's murder case, and Calvin must choose between Denita and his lover.

The Jordans do damage control when news breaks of Sasha's tell-all, Denita and Essence take the Faith Night stage, and Rbel and Taj's duet brings out their true feelings.

Rbel's spiritual journey hits a roadblock as she sorts out the state of her relationships with Taj and Z, and Calvin stands before First Kingdom with a newfound devotion to justice for Dani.
